Archery is a very rewarding activity requiring technique and discipline and is popular with school camps.
Hunger Games Training (Not Really!)
Suitable age group: 8 years of age and above.
The ideal maximum number of students per 1 hour session is 12, which will see them gain the Archery Basics.
Our instructors are qualified under the New Zealand Field Archery Association level 1 coaching and they provide good tuition to develop skills and confidence for first time archery students.
A number of students have subsequently joined local Archery clubs to further their participation in this sport.
This activity can be utilised as a part of a school or camp program subject to the venues being suitable for the target areas.
North Rodney Blue Light predominately provides instruction and equipment using Recurve bows and a few compound bows. Targets are normally set at 12 metres from the archers.
Safety is paramount and Activity and Site specific plans are arranged prior to the event.
